Thats why i asked if anyone had a recommendation for a hog gun. Night/thermal optics are commonly used for this.
I like sigs little thermal optic.
I suppose its a niche market.

Anything works for hogs. I put down many with 556 @55fmj. Those things are like self sealing tires! I know where I shot them and couldn't find the entrance wound. Hit one broad side and I knew it was hit in the lungs, because it was coughing out blood.
