Man, when I was a kid, I had a thing for HK, the Mark23 mod0. That was a later hybrid of the USP45. During the 80s, there was serious competition for next gen weapons and contracts. Sig and HK were neck and neck but Beretta was there to squeak by on overall costs over the term of the contract. HK did some amazing things during that trial. Heads up display, timed munitions, programmed munitions. Sig has certainly stepped up their game. Look who just got awarded the next gen contract. I love my Sigs.

I’ve got Sigs and a Walther Q5 Match SF, so I decided to complete the Teutonic triumvirate and added this bad boy, this weekend. I love how chunky and heavy this gun is, it makes my P365 look like a toy.View attachment 26732

I still have a great desire to own a P30L V1. I see them now and again these days ( I had the cash and looked for months for one with no luck) but it will have to wait. I keep getting sidetracked by shotguns.

That trigger had soooooooo much play.
Duty weapon style.
It took a lot of getting used to after comp Sig pistols 😳😳😳
I assume you mean the P30 ? The Q5 has a better trigger than the VP9, which is to say probably the best striker trigger in existence. With the P30 and most other steel/hammered HKs, the first thing that needs to be done is the trigger. Then you can take it to the range and start having fun with it. :)
