Who cares if tik tok goes away, this younger generation needs to get a life besides screwing around on the cell phones all the time, I am tired of hearing omg, tic tok will be gone Sunday, it could be gone now I wouldn’t lose any sleep over it, the news media like always goes way beyond reporting stuff. Ok, enough ranting…

I've never tik toked, face booked, twitted or done any of that social media junk. I have once in a while clicked a link to something on there. No loss as I see it.
But I'm confused, what exactly are the Chinese supposed to be stealing from Americans on there? Insights into how stupid we are as a nation? I doubt they're finding any great state secrets among that trash. :rolleyes:
 
Tic Tac ain't going anywhere. The deadline will be extended by 60 days. Trump has already said he doesn't support banning Tic Tac. My prediction ( my predictions are always accurate by the way) is that it will be sold to a non Chinese government entity and will not go offline even for 1 second.

I totally understand the wanting to ban electric data gathering platforms from enemy countries. It's kind of pointless though when every single piece of electrical equipment or computerized equipment is made in China. Supporting banning things because you think it will make kids less stupid is ridiculous though. They will find other stuff to make them stupid. Because they're stupid.

It seems to me that many who favor TikToc being banned have spent many hours discussing the 'ups and downs' of it with their personal Alexa and/or Seri. ..................................... Jus' sayin', Y'all just think about that a minute!
 
Yes the Chinese are able to collect data from it all somehow, not sure. But then again, these kids put all their personal information online and in apps, including all their credit cards. The McDonald's cashiers keep telling me I can order and pay in the app, just put my credit card data in. I tell them, "Not gonna happen. You can take my order."

But the bigger problem is manipulating the content that the users see here in the U.S. to make them believe what the Chinese want them to believe and think, similar to what the crazy left media does. Mind control ...

But it won't be going anywhere because Trump says he won a lot of younger votes through TikTok. There is another way to interpret this though, the democrats want it gone because they realized the same thing. And we all know if there is something the dems can't control they weaponize everything against it.

The funny thing is that half the content they show here isn't even allowed in China.

The reality is that no post here will ever cover the depth of problems associated with this and all the other online social medias. They are all just provide a forum for the worst of the worst of human beings that exist.
