I won’t lose a second of sleep.
They need to do the same thing with all the other China 💩 Apps……

To all those people that use these Apps to make money and survive I say band together and get with an American software developer and build an App supported by an American company.

I totally understand the wanting to ban electric data gathering platforms from enemy countries. It's kind of pointless though when every single piece of electrical equipment or computerized equipment is made in China. Supporting banning things because you think it will make kids less stupid is ridiculous though. They will find other stuff to make them stupid. Because they're stupid.

Although I understand what your saying I don’t believe the ban is about protecting the level of intelligence of our younger generation as much as it’s about protection from the Chinese government collecting data and personal information.
My opinion.

Though collecting their data is one part of it all i believe their controlling the user's content is way more damaging. TikTok is NOT allowed in China. Instead they have a sister company called Douyin where user's post are heavily censored is heavily and all content heavily controlled by the Chinese government to control the masses.

It's kind of like drugs. Get everyone you can using the app first ... then control the content to control the people. It's a great way to control the weak minded.

My opinion. There really isn't any upside to any of these apps that stands out above all the downsides.

I agree completely. I was referencing several posts in this thread inferring it would make a difference, not suggesting it was a motivating factor behind the ban.


Seems my prediction didn’t come true, although I suspect by Tuesday all the little Tic Tackers will have their forum back.
