They have been in bed with ISIS for years. ISIS was dropping explosives from drones for years. And look at the similarities in the beheadings and dismemberments between ISIS and what the cartels have done so not a surprise.

If the Mexicans would allow the USA to take care of "their" problem, with what has been learned through use of Reaper drones in the Sandbox(s) the Chicoms would quickly high-tail it away from the fentanyl labs they run in cooperation with the cartels.
 
It will happen. Once the President officially designates groups as terrorists a whole host of options open up including SOF. I would say we are seeing more intel being gathered and it wouldn't surprise me if JSOC elements are already there. However, we can't fool around this time and conduct a never ending series of whack-a-mole operations. We need to annihilate them.
