Sure. Pukers and spitters were mounds of mirth to transport to jail. Spitters weren't too bad, I'd just stretch their shirt over their face/head before we got the disposable spit hoods. Memories. . .

I prefure Fire House Subs, buckets my self, you know the Semi-Automatic version of a bucket. Since they were used to hold pickles they have a pleasant sent to them.

Why would you want to? I’m 73, last time I had drunks in my car I was(barely) 21 and one of them. Nope not me. I don’t hang around folks that get blasted and I surely am not picking them up to get ‘em home. That’s what taxis and Uber are for

Spit hoods, plexiglass screens, and molded fiberglass rear seats with a drain were a welcome innovation in cruisers. Just pull in the car wash and blast everything with high pressure spray. Usually after you deposit the drunk at county jail. The days of attitude adjustments en route are long past....

They seemed God sent, didn't they? Prisoners loathe those seats.
As for attitude adjustment, it's a great deal less prevalent, but still in the tool box at arm's length, at an officer's discretion.
