Tools of the trade or ocd

While I like doing my own work when I can the cost can add up. In the end it's a money saver or just a way to spend more on what you like! I'll do my best to not leave anything out or not describe. What could help is a webcam so adding pics would be easier than going back and forth from phone to comp. This will be a multi post as limitations are per attached files max. The left pic has AR blocks, upper receiver block, action rods, bcg staking tool, b.o.n.e. (bcg tool), real avid multi-tool, SI trigger adjustment/fitment, punch/roll pin set (also has bolt catch punches (designed for r/i), real avid blocks (front and back pics) and small etc toold.

Next is pistols. Glock mag blocks, glock sleeve r/i, glock mag disassembly tool, glock sight tool r/i and glock trigger pin tool. The red blocks are for s&w m&p use and the apex is for fitting barrels (also does other than s&w).

Real avid multi-vise is great for light work and has been very useful! It can rotate 360*, tilt, lock in place when needed, has an adjustable tension for pivot/swivel/angle, removable jaws (non-marring and soft sided) along with an adjustment for leveling in small amounts.

Now if I knew how to do lever action work would be helpful. Trying or knowing how to headspace on marlins and rossi's without sending them off somewhere would be a dream. Another useful tool(s) I didn't post is these puppies. Some are cartridge specific and some are multi and can't forget a caliper. These gauges cover all of my cartridges I load and build for. 223rem/5.56nato/223wylde, 243win, 6.5gren, 6.5creed, 260rem, 264wm, 6.8sp, (270win not needed as I have a blr), 300bo, 308win, 300wm and 338lm.

While this thread isn't about me, just the need for specific tools that you have or the need for. I try and cover all my basis on what I can do. My mechanical side of me is never ending. While I don't have any formal firearm training on fix/build/customize, I'm limited. As a local business might be (so I've heard) is starting up a machine shop for firearms. Only if I had the time to train and learn from a credited school I'd be all over that on filling out an application! While I can do lots of technical work, I've no experience/training on machine work of firearms. Hopefully be able to have some chambering and AR barrel work done in the future. They're still getting the business set up, it still needs the machines. Building is up along with plumbing, electrical and hvac.
