Double line it and it doubles the capacity and the speed. That's of course you have enough line? I used to carry way more than needed, but had it just in case. Antifreeze and extra water should've been added to the post.

I keep a 10" sq 3/8" flat piece of steel to set the jack on. Ususally the places who get stuck in aren't flat and dry. Trying to jack up your truck in a bog can be an exercise in futility. What's wrong with keeping a can of fix-a-flat to inflate a flat tire?
