Top ten 22lr revolvers

No Colt Diamondbacks or King Cobras or Troopers or Officer's Models? No S&W M18s or Kit Guns of any kind? Sorry, this list is just incomplete.

Also, is the list "The Best" or "the top 10 'most popular'"? Two completely different things. Sorry, David Freeman. Grade D+.

Well…these are all being produced right now, unlike those you gave as examples.

But yes, my Colt Officers Model Match .22 is a much better revolver than most being made today…although my 617 can almost keep up with it.

And the S&W 43C is a much, much, MUCH better small revolver than the LCR rimfire.

I'd say the Single Six (mine is the "convertible" model) is one of the best .22 revolvers currently in production. Although if I were to buy another rimfire revolver, it would probably be chambered in .22 WMR exclusively and be a little smaller.

Nowhere does the author talk about these guns "being produced right now." He talks about "still available today," which all those I mentioned are, if you look around a little.

The Colt King Cobra Target is still being made in .22LR (actually basically a modernized Diamondback), as well as at least three different J-frame S&Ws.

Also, the pic on the "cover" of the story seems to be a High Standard Double Nine, which hasn't been made in decades.

The story is still inadequate IMHO.

You should offer to write for publications like this. I've heard it pays really well. 🤣
