Makes for better tv drama. I pointed that out to my wife and she just rolled her eyes.
My wife likes it because, well, the main character is the exact opposite of me
. I did notice the 1911, which i thought was pretty cool. sort of a magnum pi vibe.

Just looked it up and by the synopsis it reminds me of an old tv show. I think it was called Manhunter, a guy comes back from WWI and becomes a bounty hunter. Did not last long sadly. Sometime about when I started high school i think.

I had an officer on my hostage negotiations team who has one of those 1-900 voices. Several barricaded subjects gave up after they fell in love with her over the phone and came out just to meet her. She and my sniper teams were my most valuable players. Snipers used to kid her, "Just get him in front of the window!". Well, I think they were kidding........
