New to the forum, gun world, EDC, CCW, etc. This is my first post.

Have purchase 9 long & hand guns since 2020, the "Summer of Love." Including XD9, Saint Victor, EMP. Looking at a TRP Operator and other than the grips and the sights, the only difference between the two guns is the Recoil System and the Rail.

Any advice on Springfield 1911's is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Looking for feedback with regards to the differences, especially the Recoil Systems. And if anyone has general comments about Springfield CA compliant 1911s.

Assuming the full rail runs a FLGR system, vs a GI setup in the standard.

Personally, I’m not fond of the FLGR, I think it’s an answer to a non-existent problem.

As for SA 1911’s? They’re decent production guns. However, at the price the TRP asks, I’d look at a Dan Wesson—all forged steel small parts, no MIM.
