TSW5906 Loose Rail

Anyone have one of these and fix the problem?

I need to and not sure about the right way to address the problem.

It's the rail, not the light. The rail is riveted on.

Can the rivets be drilled out and the holes be tapped? Then replace rivets with torx head screws?

Oh wait, that things got an aluminum frame right? Maybe not.

JB Weld; buddy had the same issue with a .40 TSW, that’s what he used.

It’s a not uncommon occurrence with the TSW rails.

Ok well, would the idea of replacing the rivets with screw’s work? I’m not familiar with the particulars.

Maybe. I'm learning as well. Apparently a loose rail was a common problem.

Hammer. A really big hammer. And a punch. I just had to flare out the rivets a bit. Now its solid.
