My hellcat pro osp is my seventh springfield. XDMs, XDE, SA 35 came before. I put PRP upgrades in one XDM. For carry the hellcat is my final destination…there is so much to like about this gun. But the trigger drags down this great gun. I ordered Mcarbo trigger and striker kits before I saw this thread. I should be range testing next week.

For me a good trigger improves my accuracy. Trigger pull weight is just one element in what makes a trigger work for someone. I can justify the spend because think this this gun could be perfect for my purposes.

I rented a 365 and HellCat Pro at the range before I bought. I couldn't pass up Springfield's Gear Up deal.

Don't know about that have Apex trigger kits into two M&P 2.0's. Both have less than 3lb pulls, zero take-up, zero over travel, clean breaks and short re-set. Different story with the Shield 40 couldn't tell much difference than stock.

After the war started they weren't exporting much.

More likely much of their work force was called up with their reserves.

I don't see the point in changing only the trigger. Guess that is what you and several others have found as well.

I don’t see the point of buying a pistol that doesn’t have a good trigger out of the box.
