Tuxedo with tails

Never wore a tux, and don't have any plans to. I have two suits, one from my wedding and one for other occasions. Regular everyday wear is jeans and tshirt/polo/dress shirt, depending on activity for the day. Always try to dress up nice for my wife when we go out. Otherwise, vagabond.

For 20 years I worked in IT in the Automobile industry. For about the first 10 it was suit and tie, then shirt and tie. The last 5 were business casual. Firearms were strictly verboten, a firing offense.

Most of the time I carried several knives no firearm. But upon occasion, especially when visiting other plants in some areas I carried a P3AT in a pocket holster. No one was ever the wiser and I never felt underarmed.

If I’m in a suit I have a 1911 in a shoulder holster.
Always wore a suit doing executive protection, as opposed to a sport coat as a Detective. Never wore a tux. Always wore a shoulder rig if expecting any potential trouble. Normally, a S&W Sigma 40, this was the 90s. Never gave up on the .40, bigger than the 9mm and more penetration than the .45. Maybe because I already reloaded for the 38-40, which is nearly the same round.
