UHF HD antennas

I’m tired of wasting 200 a month on direct tv and cutting the cable. Anyone have suggestions or recommendations for UHF multi directional antennas?
Thanks
before cable, we always had.."Channel Master", on a pole, attached to one chimney or another......with the rotating motor

if you can find a tv antenna installer, give him a call,

this is for digital signals, mine never were, analog was still around then, but mine were similar to this one

I am thinking also of dropping my cable and just stream, I have a digital antenna in my one windows, and I receive all my local channels perfectly, I’ll keep my internet and just stream all the free things, Samsung+, Tubi, Frevee, Pluto, CW just to name a few, all free.

we still have dish for the rv times
but all the rest of tvs are smart tvs that stream the world
i pay for zero streaming services and there must be 4 gazillion apps and places to watch movies, old stuff, new etc
tubi is free and has just about everything, as well as pluto

It's been my experience that the "digital" antennas are directional and need to be pointed directly at the broadcast antenna location for optimal receiving.
All antennas are directional, they have some gain to the sides but the strongest gain is pointed directly at the source, even bowtie square antenna.

Cable never got this far out, dumped satellite 20 years ago for Roku. Back then about all we could get was Netflix. Boy have things changed since then. One could easily get by with just what's free. You can also spend as much or more for apps, BUT you get to watch what you want when you want. I've had a number of antennas over the years, and they worked fine before the GOV. switched from analog to digital, now nothing, zip, nada. Gee thanks. 🤬
