In addition to electronics; now this I can not prove nor disprove, and don't recall if it was in the fine print or it was told to me - that my new 2020 Chevy 2500 can be remotely shut down. By whom and from where I have no idea, if it is in fact true. This capability would not surprise me - seems current auto computers are like the black box on aircraft. Difficult to argue driver error in court when the computer memory history is introduced.
