Vertx Everyday Fanny 2.0: Best CCW Pistol Fanny Pack?

IMO, if you appear to be a certain type of person, or if you dress a certain way, wearing a fanny pack is equivalent to open carry.

…well, unless of course you aren’t using it to conceal your carry and are using it instead for generic storage - wallet, phone, dog treats, paperback, water bottle, etc.

…if dressed in running clothes, probably a totally discreet carry method.

I ain’t gonna wear a fanny pack😁

I will readily concede the featured product is well made , high quality product . With design features reasonably well suited to packing heat .

( Cynical aside - My on sale , 2 for something like $30 Amazon gun fanny pack , also doesn't suck , in the context of gun carry fanny packs )

If l was an attractive woman with fashion sense , instead of a bald beefy old fart , whose fashion moto is " Camouflage and black leather go with everything " , l would be impressed with the stylish Ness and color palate.

But even the most best -est Fanny Pack isn't enough to transcend the inherent nature of Gun Fanny Packs . ( Yes , they do have a greater than zero usefulness for certain situations, but l have a fairly narrow definition of those situations. )

In the broader universe of " these kind of things " , my preference runs to sling packs .

My recent one offers accessibility and speed of draw of a Tanker style holster. Admittedly, when it's carrying a full size gun , it can't hold much purse clutter / pocket overflow stuff , but that's not a priority to me . And it's Not Ugly .

I have pics on hand of the Fanny pack with compact pistol inside ( I think I've posted here before , but maybe my other secondary gun forum ) , but none of the sling bag with laser equipped G22 . I'll take some pics of Biggfoot Jr modeling it , but it won't be tomorrow, he has a work gig , and he'll probably be gone by the time I get home from midnight shift .

The only time I carry my gun in a fanny pack is when I'm going to the gym. I bought this fanny pack at Goodwill. It's an Ikendo. I have done some research apparently Ikendo is a martial arts brand. I'm not sure what makes a fanny pack a martial arts accessory. It's just big enough to carry my glock 26.
