Looks like the virginia supreme court is in on the gig also. Please watch the video to the end, especially if you are going to the rally monday.

I keep debating about starting a post that asks: What a person is willing to do if you knew they were coming to get your guns? It is something I have been debating for years.
 
It's hard to believe what some people want this country to be. I can't believe the changes I've seen in my lifetime and fear what is in store for my children. I guess there have always been those that want complete control of others around them and this is the means to that end. The excuse that we will all be safer is pretty lame if you look at any of the facts of an unarmed citizenry.
 
So, the governor and his cabal issue new anti-2A laws, realizes that the people are not going to readily accept the new laws (even though he could care less what the peons think), and has a fence erected around the state capitol bldg to keep the crowds at bay, but actually it's to corral them into a controllable area. The whole thing reminds me of the kings back in the day that would declare new freedom-restrictive laws, and the castle had a moat to keep the peasants out.

If you speak of uprising or resistance, you're labeled a terrorist or extremist . Like minded folks will not be remembered as Patriots, but enemies of the state. The government as a whole is not the enemy. The unending bureaucracy, so many sanctioned agencies going only by acronyms. They are.
The country needs an overhaul. This is true. To keep the peace, we need to overhaul from the inside out. Just like the education system has "dumbed down" our children, we have to vote in those who would fight to defend our liberties. Get them in office quietly, let them work to forward patriotism vs socialism. Let us reclaim our country using what the framers gave us. Our vote. Remember to voice your concerns with your reps and congressman, see where they stand. Vote accordingly.
I'm union, here in Chicagoland. You really can't work in Chicago without. Doesn't matter which hall you hire out of, the leadership always begs/demands you vote Democrat. The problem is, today's democrat is not what they were back when unions came into their own. The democrats dont want you to be self sufficient, they either want you on the gov't teet or supporting it. The unions support the democrats blindly to further their agenda, which is labor, I get that. You can't vote single mindedly. You gotta look at 'your' big picture.
Now that I'm on the watch list, it was nice knowing you all, however briefly.

I think most of us have been on watch lists for a while.
 
As I said on another thread, voting is important. That is the way to make changes. There are still patriots who run for office, but a lot of us stay home because we are too busy or too tired or too something. Virginia now has so many folks focused around the DC area, I'm not sure the rest of the state can overrule them.

"Popular vote" aka we libetards in the cities outnumber you country folk is what every Democrat wants and every sane person fears.

My brother works for an acronym and wants out so bad he can't stand it because of the restrictions the government puts on them. Oh you would like to arrest the illegal because he is here illegally, I don't think so he hasn't done anything wrong. What? How about he broke the law to get here, or you can't hold him accountable for his actions because you don't know who he really is, or because he is taking handouts that the legal citizens are paying for?

Great question Grifter, I've asked that question myself many times and really don't have a solid answer. It really make you think, and it may depend on the current atmosphere. Are other's resisting, have organized militias formed, should I store my guns out of home & somewhere else secured?, etc.

Especially when there are more people that die in medical malpractice than firearm related deaths, more people die in car accidents than firearm related deaths but nobody is trying to ban cars.
 
My father, a pastor, instilled in all his children to stand for what is right and do right, always! His reasoning was if you hold strong to moral convictions and let others know you do, the people out to cheat and deceive others will flee from you!!! Sorta saves a lot of problems. My point is this: I want everyone to know that I stand for freedom, for everyone! I believe in the second amendment so we can keep the first amendment for without it we will have no religious freedom. That is what we are really fighting for, but we have to maintain our voices and keep the tools of our liberty. The second amendment is the red headed stepchild of our rights. If the left attacked the first amendment every day like they do the second there wouldn’t be a left very long. If your on the watch list be proud in knowing you stand for something and you are the one they fear.

Well said sir. Our founding fathers were intelligent men who looked at the mistakes of the past and tried to implement safeties to keep them from reoccurring. They did their best to ensure that no one belief system could take over the others religious or otherwise. What we are now seeing is that very thing rising up again. "We are right and if you don't agree we will force you into compliance." They are no different than the common criminal they want victims not a fight.
