Ok, i'm going to take it apart and look again. i just seen an article that said it was lightweight aluminum. it sure don't look like it or feel like it. but i was wrong on the rost martin when i said it was plastic.

Welp after farther review and testing i was wrong again. It is aluminum. It sure looks like plastic but it sounds like metal when tapped on.

Now we know it's aluminum, how's recoil? I have the full size Ruger and like it a lot. It eats everything and is pretty accurate. I haven't heard much about the FS lightweight, just the lightweight Commander which is about $400 more. Your target looks pretty good, so how about a few more details if you please.

Recoil was light with it. But it's a 9mm Hardly any compared to the 10mm.
I have an older ruger 1911 45 and it is heavy. You know it's all metal.

Ok. Everything was shot at 10 yards. I did lay my hands against a tree to steady it.

Shot aroun 50 rounds through it. 20 were free fort something stuff cant remember the name. The rest was reloads with blue teflon coating. I bought a 1000 rounds a while back when things were scarce and i have shot about half of them with no problems.

The grip panels i got off ebay. It comes with the layered looking grips. It feels good in the hands and is lightweight compared to the 45 version.

Rats, I was hoping yours was the .45. Sigh. My 9 mm arsenal is like bunnies, they're reproducing like crazy. I could see my way to another .45 1911. Looking at the Tisas Duty w/o rail.

They had a 45 When i bought that one. They looked exactly alike and weight felt the same
