Was watching Criminal Minds and I noticed something cool!

So I started Criminal Minds recently (yes, I know, I have a lot of catching up to do, but I don't watch a lot of TV even streamed, mostly read books) but I noticed SSA David Rossi....has a Springfield Professional 1911 Operator! That is an amazing bit of attention to detail, as Rossi in the show's lore was part of the training team for FBI HRT before Ruby Ridge & Waco. And of course, the Pro 1911 was originally made for the FBI and FBI HRT specifically as their custom sidearm.

Color me impressed with TV for once.

Yeah, usually they don't bother to do even basic firearm research before they say ridiculous stuff. Like, when Mike Tao on Major Crimes finds a bunch of 9mm casings at a crime scene and proclaims they came from a Sig Sauer. Or when they claimed to run a shotgun for ballistics.

Criminal Minds is a great show however I was watching some of the newer episodes and it seams like the writers are running out of new material and the actors are fumbling through the show.
Just my take.
Definitely enjoy Gun Stories by Joe Mantegna, the man is very knowledgeable when it comes to firearms.

Nothing thrilling me too much on the TV these days. The Red Green Show.

I think they should have taken The Closer/Major Crimes and did a spin off with Julio. Only not the " New and improved" Julio who worked out all his anger issues. I liked the old, angry, violent Julio.

I admit I will watch Rizzoli and Isles. It is a totally stupid and unrealistic show. But Sasha Alexander makes me feel funny.
