I did try to research but only found old threads that weren't very helpful.Maybe check the 26 some odd pages on this forum in regards to the hex wasp.Im not sure if the things is still a crap shoot or the issues have been resolved,
Here's a great article on a alternative RDS for the Hellcat.I recently purchased a Hellcat OSP Sports South Exclusive. SA is out of stock on the hex wasp. Looking for advice on OSP's for this gun. Should I wait for the hex wasp or is there a better or equal OSP that I should consider that is available?
I had already seen that but it's an old thread. Things could have gotten bette since then. I may just go with the SMSc since it seems it's available from SA for the HellcatRead through this thread on the Hex Wasp it may help with your decision.
Hex Wasp - Anyone’s randomly stop working?
I know I can google-smart this more, but as I am doing that I thought I would post to our amazing forum. Purchased RDP…all good, wasp seems to be ok. Not the best but love the co witness and metal/design. Certainly works well. Went in the safe for a month + as I been busy. Took it out today...www.thearmorylife.com
Long story short(short as possible) Around July 2021 a thread was started & is now at 26 pages (on this forum !) of info on the hexwasp. The issue is (was?) that the batteries lasted about 30 days & went dead. Its gone back & forth ever since that it's fixed , it's not fixed. Some people I believe have received & returned 2 ,3 ,4 .Some have no problem . I personally had a bad one & as I learned more.I decided to get off the merry go round and took a louisville slugger to it.Shooting is one of my small pleasures in life and I didn't want to go through this return , return , return thing. It's up to you.I don't take chances with unreliable weapons.Especially guns. There are options out there.Your choice.Good luckI did try to research but only found old threads that weren't very helpful.
When I got my Hellcat OSP, the only direct fit, 100% co-witness choices were the RMSc, SMSc, and the J-Point. Have the Shield RMSc on my Hellcat for 3+ years. Chose it over the SMSc for aircraft aluminum chassis rather than polymer and its slightly smaller footprint. No issues whatsoever so far. It is $100 more than the SMSc but I'm glad I made the choice. The SMSc is also a fine choice if price is a factor. Have no experience with the Wasp so I can't comment on it.I had already seen that but it's an old thread. Things could have gotten bette since then. I may just go with the SMSc since it seems it's available from SA for the Hellcat
