Somebody say Mark Knopfler?
Add me to the "guitard" roster.Well. There’s at least 3 of us here now. And a couple guitards, uh, I mean guitarists.
I believe low capacity come with only 10 round magazines. So while the criminals are carrying around their 50 round drums make your 10 shots count
I knew there were a few of you.Add me to the "guitard" roster.
You should always make your shots count, no matter how many or few rounds you have.
Well, I completely disagree agree with your XO opinion on if it took more then 10 rounds, what if the threat is behind cover……. there can various reasons why you may need more then 10 rounds to ward off a threat. Seems to me he is leaning towards the lefts claim on you don’t need more then 10 rounds and no high capacity mags, like @HansGruber said make sure your shots count.what the XO said at the club meeting one time, basically echoes yours.
he said, "i'd be very disappointed, if it took anyone in this club MORE than 10 rounds to end the threat"
sultans of swing, ol mark flat lat lays it down,I've been known to finger pick a guitar now and then. I enjoy watching Mark Knopfler and many others....Tommy Emmanuel has some incredible guitar picking chops...
10 round magsHi All, I was on Springfields sight looking at HellCat RDPs and they have a couple that are low capacity? I have never heard this term before? Maybe I'm, not very bright, but know you guys will know the answer!! Thanks in advance, Jim

YesCan the "Low Capacity" model accept larger capacity magazines if you travel?
actually, we have several police officers at the club, many of which are "high ranking" (which includes police chiefs), and the club has (of course) been a supporter of the 2A rights.Well, I completely disagree agree with your XO opinion on if it took more then 10 rounds, what if the threat is behind cover……. there can various reasons why you may need more then 10 rounds to ward off a threat. Ok, maybe I miss understood then, my bad, I know when I worked at my sheriff dept, most of the deputies didn’t know diddley about firearms, seriously, I don’t know how they even got through the academy, and then qualified with a gun, most also didn’t agree that civilians should have weapons, only military and law enforcement, that’s was my reason for the leaning part of my post.actually, we have several police officers at the club, many of which are "high ranking" (which includes police chiefs), and the club has (of course) been a supporter of the 2A rights.
the reason being that if you are good at shooting, then it should take no more than 10 rounds to put down the threat. (shot placement)
he is a member of the shooting league, and many members there (not me) belong to that league, and they usually win 1st place every year, this past year however, they came in 2nd place
so he KNOWS his shooters, that's why he said if it took anyone more than 10 rounds....
yes, i do agree, there can be a "mob" of attackers, but would they all stick around, or run off, seeing one of thier own take a dirt nap..??
anyway, no, you would be wrong, about his "leaning".....
Also, don’t get me wrong on the deputies, it was usually the young guys that felt like this, the seasoned ones didn’t feel like that, I am not putting down any law enforcement personnel, it’s just till you worked around some of them, you get to know how they act and felt on certain things. The deputy who did the qualifications, we became real good friends, him and another deputy are the ones I took my CCW class from.Ok, maybe I miss understood then, my bad, I know when I worked at my sheriff dept, most of the deputies didn’t know diddley about firearms, seriously, I don’t know how they even got through the academy, and then qualified with a gun, most also didn’t agree that civilians should have weapons, only military and law enforcement, that’s was my reason for the leaning part of my post.
i know about "some" miraculously qualifying at the range during academy training.Ok, maybe I miss understood then, my bad, I know when I worked at my sheriff dept, most of the deputies didn’t know diddley about firearms, seriously, I don’t know how they even got through the academy, and then qualified with a gun, most also didn’t agree that civilians should have weapons, only military and law enforcement, that’s was my reason for the leaning part of my post.
