No. Just bare hands. I do, though, find myself handling it a lot, I enjoy it’s looks and feel.

It looks like some sort of a carbon buildup. Was wondering if you had gloves on that may have caused it.

If the finish is indeed ‘wearing off’, then it might be risky using something as strong as ‘spray & wipe’ Shooter Lube (of which I am skeptical; another story).
If u have changed your mind and are sure it’s buildup (carbon or whatever), try a tiny test spot to make sure.

I feel that your wear is abnormal. I expect SA to make good on it, but you may be without for a few weeks.

I just sent it in to SA for warranty repair. They said it’d be 3-4 weeks. Thanks!

I have to give SA credit. I sent it in with an explanation and they refinished the frame and grip areas. Looks fantastic again.

SA seems to be a standup company. I have enjoyed their products and am impressed with the diversity of their lineup. Seems like they are on a roll here the last couple of yrs.
