Mrs. BassCliff and I took a trip to Nashville recently. Among other things, we visited the Country Music Hall Of Fame and Museum. I really enjoyed this display.

The firearms were chrome plated, for decorative purposes only. But still, you don't see class like that any more these days.

There are several weird cars running around here. One is a Nitro (?) that has shiny bling crap glued over the entire surface. Absolutely hideous. Another is an Audi that is lifted with chopped wheel wells and huge mud tires. Hillbilly craftsmanship? Another example of excess might be the lifted truck a Vette could drive under driven by a short guy weighing perhaps 120 lbs. dripping wet. Of course this is an area that isn't exactly wealthy, so I wouldn't expect to see that level of extreme set by your Nashville example. YMMV
