My understanding on reviews and forums, are that none are available in the U.S., but it's rumored they are/were available in Europe (although they said the Italian Beretta site were out of any for sale). Beretta offers a website to claim a free plate, and once they come in, they will send you a code to obtain one (I signed up requesting the Trijicon RMR plate which also will fit Holosun). They are doing the same procedure when registering the firearm to get two free mags (in my case 18 rounders), with the FDE base plates. Due to supply issues, they are shipping these firearms with only one with a FDE base plate while the other two are Black base plates (3 come with the firearm). I registered my M9A4 upon which they indicated they will send me a code (when they become available), to be used after placing them in your Beretta Cart, which will discount their entire amount, thus getting two for no cost (and they aren't requesting the black plated mags be sent back, so you'll end up with 5 mags). I'm assuming the plates will be handled the same - place in cart; use code; get it for no cost. When this will happen?, no one seems to yet know. Some reviewers of the full size M9A4, have been waiting since October 2021, and I haven't seen any updates that anyone has obtained one.Are optic mounting plates available for the M9A4 yet?
And as a side note, this Beretta plate request website isn't only for the M9A4, but for several other models specified in a drop down menu, so owners of models like the Optics ready APX, can also go this route requesting their plate.
