I didn't know that this competition existed, but it looks like fun. Unfortunately, my only vintage military rifle is a Chicom SKS that was recently released from a warehouse in Estonia. I really like that rifle, and it probably shoots as well as any other SKS of its era, but I doubt it could compete with the other models that qualify for the semi-auto division.

Hmm so that old M1 Carbine has a class and it do shoot sweet. I still have some of that 1954 ammo (extra points?) and probably is as reliable as me, being almost the same age... But the SKS must too have a home going up against the M1A and M-14 and the Carbine as well.
