Checking up on all my peeps in the Tampa Bay area, all safe. We have a couple refugees here who will be with us for a while due to flooding of their house. Coffee and breakfast done, weather is beautiful, it will be a shop day

for me, the USPS letter carrier is dependable to a fault.

i usually get to tell her, its a heavy package.

many times however, USPS just changes the day of delivery, but here, i get my mail by 2 PM, so when it says, "out for delivery", i know it'll be here on time.

UPS will change delivery times all day long as well.

thing is, i am lucky that i have renters here that watch out for me and the wife. as we do for them..so there is never no one at the house. even though all packages get delivered to the rear door, my backyard is exposed all the same to "roaming" eyes......

this is why when i order something and there is no tracking number, it ticks me off.

needless to say, i'll not buy from anyone that does not provide tracking numbers.

Thinking if I want to purchase a new Springfield XD. I really don't need it. If I wanted a gun in that size I would rather purchase a Sig M17 and I really don't need that one either but Springfield price is making it hard to ignore.

Watching Abbott and Costello meet Frankenstein. Love the part when Wilbur tells Mr. McDougal that he's a union guy and works 16 hrs. a day and McDougal says a union man works 8 hrs. a day and Wilbur replies "I belong to 2 unions". An oldie but a great movie.
