What are you doing right now??

Good luck!
Good luck Belle.
Thanks guys, but all I saw were two does. Came back in at noon. Ah well, it’s been a relaxing reset of a weekend. Next weekend is my last chance, and I’m not really worried about it. We have meat for the freezer and the husband is paying to have the head mounted.
I will get to sit in his stand again too, which is nice cuz I can actually stand up and pace, lol. 😎

Called credit card company because when I shopped at Sportsman's Warehouse recently, they said I had no points. Lady said it would take a few days to fix it, but looked like I had 5,900 points.......... I had been using points for reloading supplies, but I didn't expect zero points this last time. I had to cough up $106 and wasn't amused since I had purchased a mattress, set of truck tires and a bunch of other stuff that should have factored in.

Just returned from the range. Shot SA 1911 AOS Operator 45acp w/SRO & S&W M&P 2.0 9mm Compact w/Holosun EPS. Both targets shot at 15 yards 2-3 seconds between shots. Not great but ok for an old fart.

"chatting" with an NRA cs agent..i sent in my membership dues for 5 more years, and i need to renew my gun club membership before Dec 31st..

my old card expires in Feb '25...

i just wanted the new membership card/date, cuz the club will ask me later, if i renewed the NRA.
ours ..asked up until this last go around of renewals
it was required to put your nra number on the renewal form...
this past june renewal they left it off the form,
it was some weird requirement the city put on the club to use the land back in the early 90s
when it was granted to the club, all old sewage treatment site...you would never know its past use
our club had many discussions about why they kept asking for numbers , etc and most of us have lifetime numbers so it was odd

and the outlet
its not much. just an outlet at the end of a 14 gauge cord that is plugged into a gfci on the wall by the safe,

my club was founded in 1903.

back in the late 1970's or early 1980's, they built a new building (i'd have to check the full back story on dates) and they got either a loan or grant, from the NRA, with an agreement in the contract that all members be an NRA member.....plus, the club gets an insurance discount as well.

if it was a loan, that's been long ago paid off, but to keep the insurance rates low, they keep the NRA requirement.

grants, don't get paid back, as we know...i just cannot recall how the club got the money from the NRA, loan or grant.
