Woke up at 02:25. Wide awake...I'm a sucker for punishment, lol. The husband left me a note by the coffee maker saying the roads were very slippery, so I guess I had better move it so I can leave early. Another day in paradise..

Today starts week two of my current vacation. Most of which has been hampered by cold temperatures. This week will be cold too. Not as cold as Hans or Belle or any of you northerners are experiencing, but highs in the 20s make keeping the uninsulated shop warm enough to be comfortable challenging.
Today I suppose I better go pay the county the $400 fine I owe for 20 over the speed limit. I should change the oil in the Lexus and figure out what the problem with the charging system is too. I hate working on cars in the cold.

Dude, that was after paying my lawyer $400. 61 in a 35. About 5 AM on my way to work. I can't count the times I have been pulled over for speeding and let go because I have a Class A. Not this little bastard. He had to "Make an example of me". After he handed me the ticket and gave me his spiel he asked me if I had any questions. I said "Yeah, why are you wasting your time hassling people going to work but every other car I see on the highway has temp tags that expired last year sometime ? " He just looked at me. I rolled my window up, pulled out on the highway and immediately accelerated to about 70 MPH.winter sucks. give me summer

Taking my router motor to the electric shop for repairs. Always something. I use that router table every day. Then to Lowes for pipe insulation materials it's gonna hard freeze here in the Sunshine State.

Wrapping up a cold morning of chasing roosters; 15°, but little wind & bright sunshine; not horrible.
No joy. Roosters were super squirrely, nothing but really long shots (40+ yards).
Been I while since I screwed in the full choke for pheasants (been on IC so far)…but here I am.
