My thoughts are with all of you who are in path of severe weather and its aftermath. I won't complain about the 18 inches of heavy snow we got that has nearly disappeared already. I have weathered a hurricane in Florida with my sister, and that hailstorm a couple of years ago when I thought for sure our west window was a goner. Very unsettling. Stay safe guys.

Better get in gear. Range day after work.

well, i have a doctor's appointment for 9AM today, so i cannot do much until then.

when i get home, the wife wants to clean out the pantry cupboards, give them a good cleaning, then put all that crap back.

then she wants high and low dusting done.

most likely saturday will be floor washing, and carpet vacuuming day, maybe even change out the curtains and drapes

oh joy....the rituals of spring time cleanings

ever so glad, that spring time cleaning happens only 4 times a year, here........

Good luck with your doctors appointment!

oh yeah, thanks, simple in and out. since i am a diabetic, i have to get regular diabetic foot care...trim the nails, examine me, ask me questions, like what was my last A1C, pay the lady, then out the door.

but when i got home, being 60 degree's, i went to the garden, and removed the plastic sheet from the potted plants, trimmed a few of them, and uncovered the rose bush that must be about 40 years old.

the Crocuses are in bloom, and this year, not buried under the pots, like they were last year......(thanks to MY sons)

wife is now PO'd at me for doing that, as we were supposed to clean the cupboards, wash them, and wash the items that were inside.

but all that bending to pick up the flower pots, and all my back operations.>??

took a toll on me.

she always mentions WE HAVE SONS.....TO DO THAT STUFF.......>!!...(yeah i know i say to myself)

she yells at me for some reason or another.

looks like cleaning the cupboards, will be this afternoon.

Old_Me oh how I can relate! I hate paying someone to do the things around the house I used to be able to on my own. My sons would love it if I moved into an independent living situation. It would take them off the hook. But I plan to die right here in my house in the harness pulling the plow. If I leave them anything it probably will just be "alone".
