What are you doing right now??

well, my tenant came upstairs to tell me the bathroom sink cold water faucet just spins and spins and of course, the water just comes out.

i had both faucets replaced a few years ago, i cannot recall, but cannot be more then 5-6 years ago.....??? (i cannot find the receipt. )

i sent a pic to the plumber, and i had to leave a message in his voice mail

he's a good guy, has good workers

but its always at least a $300 bill each and every time...

today, i suspect it'll be about $400.....

most likely, he will not be here today however.......there goes my water and sewer bills now......

gonna have BOTH faucets replaced...it could be cheaper (in the long run)....maybe.

Columbus kicked an Indian in the stomach when he tried to trade him a faucet like that.

I thought i posted this here this morning but something didn't make the post... lol....

I was up all night, not a bad thing except i have nothing to do or anywhere to go or a way to get somewhere (no public trans or taxis closeby). So i did some TALing things got a late ride to get a drug injected into me and a late ride back to my room (a 4ish hour tour of this county for at most an hour drive and a 5 minute office visit) the Pony needs more coachpeople...

And a last search online for a different hobby/forum will be tonight. A tiny sorry for this part of this post... my frustration about this has gone on too long. And a goodbye, hope to be back soon...

I thought there is a rule about "other" forums and getting banned. And a few months ago i made a similar post in a different forum and i got a week ban...

And the post this morning i tapped "post reply" but had to get off the internets to get out to the Pony(bus) right after tapping PR. So the old cellphone i use for wifi interneting was probably the reason that post wasn't posted...

Or did i do what i usually do in threads/posts by TALers? Not understand the post/reply and i explained my other post... lol...

I ran out of 100 round ammo boxes for my Schofield rounds, so I grabbed a labeled .30 cal. can to put them in. It was full and the other can was more than half full. Yikes! I had already put 2K bullets in a blue bin to grab from while reloading more. I guess I'll be shooting more .45s than I thought. I grabbed my .45 Lightning to check out as it wasn't working so great last time out months ago. I gave it a good scrub, put it back together and tried a couple of rounds to check function and it worked splendidly. Instead of checking it out before, I just moved on to another rifle. Now we have two functional Lightnings besides the previous mothballed '92. My reloading bench was a wreck, so I got after that which led to cleaning up the shelving above it and later, some storage cabinets to handle more gun stuff. I found case gauges, powder bushings and some other items I forgot I had. We had moved into 2 homes here and sometimes I put things away to get them out of sight instead of organizing at the time. I even found some of my reloading notes. I mounted a Dillon SD to the bench and quit for a brief nap and lunch.

Woke up to very dense fog this morning. It's still pretty thick out there, I hope it lifts before I have to leave. Today is range day, but I am going to visit a work friend who has had foot surgery. She's been off work for a month now, and she's looking at another five weeks off from the sounds of things. She's going stir crazy so I'm going to drop by for a visit BEFORE the range. She has cats and I don't want to be covered with range dirt when they crawl all over me (I'm a pet magnet, apparently 😊).
The husband has to work tomorrow so there's no rush to get back to the homestead, but I am usually all peopled out by the time I get my Friday things done so, unless I bump into an interesting invitation or something in my travels, I'll bug out of Fargo before rush hour.

Hi,

It's great to see everyone out and about, taking care of the business of life.

All of my functions are returning to normal since surgery on Monday. The pain is slowly subsiding unless I have to cough. That really hurts. The grandkids want to visit but I asked daughter to wait until my Foley friend is gone. That should be Tuesday after my follow-up appointment. (Sorry if TMI.) I am just happy and blessed to be cancer free. Thank you for your prayers.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff
