I have banana plants but they have never flowered. I use the leaves in cooking.

contemplating whether to go out into the cold temps, under 35 right now, to apply crack sealer to the concrete walkway on the north side of my house, and dig up weeds, and rake leaves....
or stay in the house, maybe help the Mrs do some cleaning, like sweeping the floors, and cleaning dust off the high areas....
or going down to the basement to reload a couple-three, maybe 400 hundred rounds of ammo
or .........take a few naps, before my noontime naps.........

Woke up with a "banger" of a migraine. Coffee which usually helps isn't working out so far so gonna go back to bed although Gracie my shepherd\lab mix who is 11 years old has other plans.

It has been a wonderful and exhausting week. Most of the clan made it. 20 people around our dining table. Much laughter and hugging and storytelling. Game playing and Fishing and shooting and cruising the farm and three birthday celebrations.
My Big Green Eggs never cooled. 28 lb brisket Wednesday, 24 lb turkey yesterday, Mrs Greener's arsenal of sides. Our kids are all in their 40's and Our grandbabies are growing up too fast. Great memories The traveling branch have gone leaving good memories. Mrs Greener and I have much to be thankful for. Time to recover, it starts all over at Christmas.

Another brittle morning here, woke up to -9. I don't think I'll do the walk so early, not until it warms up anyway. The high temp is supposed to get to 7. We'll see. Gonna top off the coffee mug and start the laundry. I think I'll do some dry fire this afternoon between chores.

well...so i uncontemplated what to do, and raked leaves, dug up weeds from the frozen garden, helped the wife with some high dusting, cleaning mirrors, swept the floors as she vacuumed, and did the laundry....
i could not seal the cracks in the concrete, the filler that i had..?? was rock solid, and it was never opened.....
and no reloading of any ammo......
after a PBJ, and banana sammich, and an icy cold milk...a nap loomed heavily over me.
now i gotta buy a new tube of concrete crack sealer tomorrow.

Browsing Benchmade knives yet again. My GOD there are so many choices available having too many decisions to make. Wife says to me if the migraine is still bothering you come back to their site tomorrow and order whatever and how many you want.

Well those parts are getting closer. By the way since you are doing so good at sharpening knives , can I bring mine over for you to do them??It's cold and snowy out and latest tracking has my parts in Champaign, Illinois

Finally sitting down for a bit. I washed, dried and put away the blaze orange mound. Broke down a bunch of cardboard boxes for the recycling bin. Did another three loads of laundry, including all the bedding. Cleaned the bathrooms. Dusted ALL the bottles of wine in the wine racks (there's 30 something...I quit counting after 30 ). I still have beds to make but I'm taking a breather. Vacuuming will get done tomorrow cuz I'm starting to lose my mojo. All in all I'm pleased with myself for being productive, even though I didn't get to dry firing today. Perhaps tomorrow...
