Happy Birthday Bella and congrats on the new addition
It is tomorrow, but thank you for the birthday wishes anytime!I think her birthday is tomorrow.
Good luck, mostly enjoy yourself!Getting ready to leave for my first official competition shooting event... a little nervous. 10 yrs US Army, 20+ years Police... but just now at an early retirement age of 57 getting into competition shooting. Practiced last week and a 14-year-old girl smoked me. lol
(I'm OK with that, just having fun in my retirement years.)

I grew up on a dairy farm in the upper Midwest. I know about snow and cold temps. One of the big reasons I moved away. You can keep the snow and cold. I've lived in South Texas for decades, and I hate that it's 50 degrees out at my place right now! I had to put a light jacket on to go burn garbage. Tundra life is not for me!Griped quite a bit about no rain and high temps. Now our highs are in the mid 50's lows high 30's low 40's. Have a few new handguns that need to go to the range but my old bones complain about the cold and moisture in the air. I'm almost embarrassed complaining about our weather while numerous forum members are shoveling snow and trying to keep warm.

I love that term “Tundra life”. It does describe my neck of the woods some days. My mom and stepdad lived in Texas for nearly 40 years and I loved going to visit them. However I could do without the fire ants, termites and poisonous snakes and spiders. On the other hand, the odd gecko would run along the wall now and then, and I’d always wonder if I actually saw it or was it my imagination. The one in the bath tub was definitely not my imaginationI grew up on a dairy farm in the upper Midwest. I know about snow and cold temps. One of the big reasons I moved away.
