What are you doing right now??

The VA is painfully slow and some of the doctors leave a lot to be desired. Took the better part of a year to get benefits started had to travel to Houston & San Antonio multiple times. Saw several doctors and shrinks. Was 55 when I first applied and at the time had really bad private insurance. Was still having pretty serious PTSD problems and service connected injuries. Had to have expensive back surgery that the VA payed for. Here again it took months to get VA approval. Even though I had a real hard time getting benefits am very thankful as now I'm in a much better place. Have family members and friends that have similar stories and some are still struggling with the VA. Hopefully the Trump administration will address the VA's problems.

The VA is how socialist medicine will work in America just like it does Canada.
Ask Canada how they like their shitty health care. Its the VA in America

I recently had total knee replacement surgery done. I also need it done to my other knee. Both my knees are service connected. I used my own insurance to get my knee done. I'll also get my other knee done with my insurance. I don't want the VA touching my knees!

We need
We need term limits so badly
Wouldn't it be nice if politicians had a punitive tax on their investments, like from their stock trading?
I only take meds when it’s unbearable, I have a high pain tolerance. That said, I’ve had to take it more often, so I’m backing off the bull work as much as they allow.
A friend of mine has all but talked me into taking a part time job at Scheels, packing online orders and stocking shelves. Apparently they’re pretty good to work for and I just want something to keep me moving, not kill me 😉.
You might get some nice discounts at Scheels, too.

Wife just picked up these nice NY Strip steaks from a local butcher.
