What are you doing right now??

well, i went to the grocery store at 7AM, that had the sales......but no product on the shelfs......

apparently, they were putting items from fridays delivery out..???

like wtf, you advertise "sale starts sunday march 9t", and the shelfs are bare of the items..??

anyways, i have to go back again tomorrow morning, which i have my usual range day later.

just a pain in the ass to make that second trip.

Some places are better at ordering for upcoming sales than others. It is annoying when sale items are non-existing. This includes online and big box stores that sell guns and related items. Why have something listed that they don't have? I tend hold grudges and wonder why they intentionally **** off customers.
when i was a kid, mom, dad, and i would go to a store, didn't matter what they sold..

mom would take the sales flier.....

they could not find the item.....

dad would say, "what did they only have 2 for sale"...????

i repeat that from time to time..

just means that tomorrow, i have to go back, but that won't interfere with my time to get to the range for 10 AM.

unless i miss my burger king coffee and sausage, egg and cheese biscuit, then my wrath will be felt across the continental divide..>!!!!!!!

It was a beautiful day here today. It was 66 degrees when I left Fargo, 64 here at the homestead. The temperature has since dropped 10 degrees and the wind is blowing at Mach 2. It's supposed to get down to 11 tonight. Everything about this winter has been weird, so...whatever.
This week has started out twisted so I don't anticipate the weird to change. Gonna sip on a new favorite...

Got back from Pearl Harbor; wife wanted to nap, and there’s a brewery only a 15 minute walk from the condo…

A few thoughts from the morning.

Watched the colors being raised; somehow, it meant a little bit more seeing it there than most other places.

The Arizona Memorial is beautiful. It had been closed for quite some time, but they’ve determined it’s safe to go to again. I was with a very respectful group (and the NPS gives a very stern talk about that you before you leave to the Memorial). Powerful place.

Didn’t tour the Bowfin (WW2 sub); my wife was a little worn down by that point, so…we’ve already decided we’re coming back, we’ll get it next trip.

All in all, it’s a great site. Not to get political, but when Lone Skum cuts the National Park Service—he’s hurting places like this. Food for thought.
