i had a strange dream about 1AM today, and it scared me, so i stayed awake till my usual wake up time of 4:30.....

I think old_me needs this as his avatar….what ya think?? 😬😬

finished my 2 day event on the front of the truck
new torque lift hidden hitch for front
cheated and didnt take off front bumper, but instead used my 40 plus years of helicopter fixin to get to two bolts that only an engineer would place behind a panel where it take s grasshopper to reach
pics are vague
but i used a bottle jack to lift it up, then cribbing, then lift again, and more cribbing until it was almost in place and a big of finesse and she is in.
back hurts from laying on ground squeezing under big air dam
proves i lost weight, last truck i installed it on i had to use ramps

so its in and you would never know its there unless i pull the plate
1k tongue weight and 10k pull rated, perfect for winch and moving the hauler trailer into its spot
our street is narrow and its a hard 90

Heading back up to Barnes Jewish. My sister in law is staying up there with her husband until it's over. It's been decided to take him off life support Thursday morning.
that's sad...to have to make that call..

this is why the wife and i have "living Wills" that include........"do not resuscitate"

we each did not want to burden each other, or have our kids go thru that gut-wrenching decision.

i got nothing else to say.

Make sure you are very specific on that DNR. A heart pump, which can be a temporary thing to help heal a heart attack patient is considered life support.

Also helps to have a Living Trust, not just a will... FYI.
Benefits to a trust:

  • Avoid probate court and keep your affairs private
  • Nominate child and/or pet guardians
  • Decide who will handle your affairs
  • Leave specific gifts (money, possessions, property, etc.)
  • Determine how your assets will be distributed
  • Exclude individuals from receiving your property
  • Specify your final arrangements
  • Note any special requests
  • Decide what should happen in a medical emergency
  • Designate health care agents
  • Grant trusted individuals access to your medical records
  • Add conditions to asset distributions
