i have a vizio big **** smart tv in the man cave ( load room/garage/lounge)
i had the channel on one of the relaxation channels it has for or five , one with a cafe with coffee and smooth jazz, one with natures beauty and one with piano and one with fly overs of famous cities around the globe
i was watching the fly over of cities and guessing which ones before the names popped up
1st if had dubai, then instanbull, copenhagen, houston, san franciso, portland and london.
i got the 1st 2 then the 4, 5th and 6th
as i watched it replay ...i noticed these cities are simply gorgeous, and the editors must have used a ton of AI editing after the drone shot the footage ( yes drones as i saw a shadow) but out of all these cities and 6 of them i know to be very DIRTY on the streets in the down town areas where the footage was shot...
but none on the screen were dirty, no homeless, no tents, no gargabe etc
just clean sidewalks and streets with normal traffic flow ..

the jazz is nice and sort of let me mellow while i cooled off
 
plumber came over, actually one of his workers, that had been here a couple weeks ago.

did a fine job, replacing 2 faucets, flex hoses with shut off valves. (ball valves)

told my tenant that next time, repairs are on THEM..since the husband LOVES to crank down on things.....

"you break it, you pay for it next time" they were told.

"you don't like it...???? for what little rent you 2 pay..?? then move the F out, or i'll KICK YOU OUT".

over a $500 bill....you had better believe i am pissed too.
 
The day was going just fine till about two hours ago. Our kitchen frig started making weird noise growled at me and quit. We have a large freezer and two refrigerators in the garage were able to transfer food to them. Went online at Home Depot found a Samsung 32 cu ft French doored model the wife really likes. Only problem won't get it till the 24th the wife says we'll be fine. Oh well life goes on.

We have the same fridge and it's not good!
 
Trying to sleep and now I gained a sleeping tiger. 1say I'll be able to sleep in a bed, but that'll take getting my neck fixed.

We have had aSamsung and an LG fail in the past 6 years. This time we went for a Bosch. The delivery guys said they have rarely had to haul a Bosch away.

I nearly lost my parents in a flooded basement when I was 15. The creek behind us flooded the entire neighborhood. I found out later my brother swam around the house looking for a way into the basement. We never found our 2 wheel trailer. We carried things upstairs as the water rose in the basement and my dad got trapped in one of the rooms until the door broke. We had to have a friend pick us up as our 3 cars wouldn't start.

Ice maker went out in less than 4 months. The repair person would've come from Dallas (350miles) or they would've replied it. Instead home depot gave me a full refund since Samsung didn't want to drive that far to fix it. Home depot couldn't believe Samsung made sure got a full refund. 1st time that ever happened as far as they (cs) new.

Our Samsung fridge had the ice maker go out 3 times. Unbelievably all 3 times were on Christmas days. Finally the 4th time they came and fixed it the tech actually knew what he was doing and it’s been fine since. It’s not a Samsung thing. It’s an ice maker in the refrigerator door thing. So no more fridges with ice makers that aren’t in the freezer.
 
Been going over a lot of things as I carry a DNR and they say the dual defibrillator in my chest is getting close to needing a new battery. I have lived a long time and I just can't justify a new battery and as my mobility is turning into lack of I don't relish the idea of being a burden on my kids. The cost of getting it done may be a lot more now but who knows for sure. My heart attacks have been problematic and I have died several times. I have beat cancer that was attacking my backbone and they said it could have paralyzed me from the chest down. When my appendix blew out I was in the hospital for a extended stay cause they had trouble flushing the poison out my system. So I continue going back and forth. It's kinda like the old song Should I Stay or Should I Go ? I want to get some more writing done which the writing is a page or two that somewhat align with my life and had a couple published. It's time consuming looking at everything but how does one make the choice. The 23 of this month I see my heart doctor and we will go over a lot of things. It's tough when you hear the music but your dancing days are done.
