What Can the US Learn from the Constant Terror Attacks on Israel?

Terrorism is a plague on the world, and no country is immune from its effects. Even here in the United States—the greatest country in the world—we have fallen victim to the twisted ideology of terrorism.

This includes not only international terrorism from the likes of Al-Qaeda, but from domestic groups such as Antifa and BLM.

While the United States is a leader in so many different arenas, there is one country that is the gold standard for dealing with terrorism. That country is Israel. Terror Attacks on Israel are horrific, but we can learn from them.

Isreal has been developing and honing its security skills and defenses for thousands of years, while losing millions of their people. They DON'T donate billions of dollars to Iran and then leave millions of dollars on their doorstep.

The USA has been at the anti-terror game for mere decades and are not just rewarding its enemies. It's been inviting them into the country.

And there are Americans who seem to be proud of their blatant stupidity...

Much easier to respond when the vast majority of citizens know what to look for/are armed and trained to use those arms. But even with that, look at the ease with which Hamas planned and executed their Oct 7th attack with little or no resistance (though they did stick to soft targets). The populace became complacent.

Mandatory service to defend this great Nation would never fly in the US. If anything, the left’s never ending assault on 2A rights is a clear indication of just the opposite, their desire to turn the country over to their globalist “friends”.

“The State of Israel requires every Israeli citizen over the age of 18 who is Jewish, Druze or Circassian to serve in the Israel Defense Forces (although there are some notable exceptions). Other Israeli Arabs, religious women, married individuals, and those deemed unfit medically or mentally are exempt from compulsory military service. Regardless of those exemptions, many of those exempt from military service do volunteer to serve in the Israel Defense Forces. Once enlisted, men are expected to serve for a minimum of 32 months and women are expected to serve for a minimum of 24 months.”

Yep. The people of Israel take it far more seriously.

What the US is * willing * to learn is an entirely different question .
THIS! After 70+ years we haven't learned anything from repeated terror attacks on Israel. I'm not holding my breath in expectation of change. Too many in this country that, (even though they won't admit to themselves let alone you and I) have been conditioned to hate Israel, Western Culture and the USA.

“The Enemy From Within”. We have entire communities in this country that are Anti-American, Anti-Semantic, etc….
Our Politicians court them for their votes.
These politicians get elected and form “Squads”.
And what do they do?
yes and what burns my goat, are the elected officials that are JEWISH, yet refuse to stand up for that community,
then add in the Jewish community, electing them in hopes that somehow they will actually stand up for the Jewish community.

That isn’t the only voting block. Poorer US citizens have been listening to Democratic Party promises (fix schools, more jobs, better living conditions, etc.) since at least the 60s…nothing seems to have really changed during any Democrat President’s terms (Kennedy, Johnson, Carter, Clinton, Obama, Biden) - a total of 33 years. There were some programs that seemed promising when implemented, until unintended consequences made things worse.

You can almost guarantee blue cities will vote blue though nothing has really improved for their residents over all that time. In many of them, it’s much worse.

Judaism Is a religion. Israeli’s are a people. How many variables within these two groups are staggering. Just as it is with Americans.

Yep👍

From what I have read, contrary to.popular belief, Isreal has very strict gun control, and not much actual civilian gun ownership.

I also understand this attitude is also changing since the big attack.
I should add that Non-Israeli citizens that live or work within the borders of Israel and its territories are Strictly prohibited from owning any type of firearm. They are also prohibited from carrying an edged weapon.
