Not really something I worry a whole lot about. 1:7 or 1:8 ( in an AR) and I'm happy enough with the results.

I don’t even mind 1:9.

They stabilize bullets up to 69gr with no issues, in my experience.

Pitdogg2 what grain bullets do you shoot?

In the Rem 700 40-55 grain either Ballistic tip or v-max. Nothing heavier for hunting.
No it does not like heavier 77gr stuff.

In that test in my first post both rifles were shooting Winchester white box 5.56 55gr fmj.
