What happened to the .357 Sig

Yes sir it does suck on the short necks but I will embrace the suck.
The only bullet that doesn't suck loading is the 147xtp. It has an almost boat-tail to it, so no need to bell case mouth. Once you get the dies correct, it's smooth sailing just like 300bo's are. I've crushed more brass between those 2 cases than 45acp alone. Down some searching for "40s/w barrel to 357sig barrel" per firearm brand. That's what usually worked for me.

Example: m/p 2.0 40s/w 4" to 357sig 4" barrel conversion

Awesome info thanks for all the help.

One thing I think S&W is or could do is offer the new M&P Metal in 357 SIG. I hear a couple folks mention putting 357 barrels in the new metal 49. I k ow SIG 226 and 229 are hard to beat in 40 or 357 as its stout enough in all the right places your not gonna shoot it apart

If putting 1 in a 40 I'd think would be better than a 9. Not because of mag differences but recoil springs. My experience anyways. I'll be getting a metal 40 this next year if still in production. I do my best to keep all parts removed or replaced from same firearm together although some are interchangeable. If more than 1 I'll add serial number. I rarely have 2 identical handguns as usually defined by barrel lengths.
