I was in Naples Italy and as I strolled down the street a 2 guys walked up to me and my buddy and said give us your money. We said know that's when out came the biggest damn switch blade knife I had ever seen and I have seen plenty,I lived in east Oakland CA. part of my youth. It pissed me off and I grabbed the knife with my left hand and proceeded to punch him in his face. Next thing I know the police arrived and grabbed me and I'm hollering get him that's when I realized the blood was mine and the emergency vehicle slide to a stop and they started my hand. They threw the bad guy in the wagon. The EMT told my I might lose my thumb as the blade cut to the bone. Well they stitched it up gave me the switch blade as a momento of see Naples and die.

Similar situation in Buena Park California in 1985. Substitute Italians for Mexican gang bangers. There were no injuries or blood but when the cops came I somehow was the one in trouble.

Yep. We’ve got problems with the schools in Central Texas. Particularly the ones in Killeen Texas. It’s right outside Fort Cavazos and it’s your typical Military city. It seems during the school year a week doesn’t go by without something happening on the Middle or High School campuses.
I live 15 miles to the east. We have 1 High School and 2 Middle Schools. It’s a rarity that something happens. We have a strong community involvement in the schools. Killeen doesn’t

Not all of Italy is like that. Naples has its problems but mostly from refugees from the Middle East.
A heavy leather belt with a solid heavy metal belt buckle as a defensive tool and composite toe boots help.
Being a American soldier and carrying a knife is frowned upon there.

1959 Fall River Massachusetts went up there for the big dance at the city center. Me and 2 friends were having a great time when the local guys got pissed off at us out of towns and boot scooter started. We were retreating to the car to get out of Dodge when a building fell on my back and I tried to get up and I saw the guy holding a bumper jack so I'm try to get up and go when I felt the impact and legs gave way and all I could do was look at the guy as he raised that jack and I closed my eyes. All of a sudden I heard a voice saying drop it. I opened my eyes and a cop had his gun pointing at the guy and I blacked out. I still have some metal pieces in my lower back.
