What happened?

For the Leo's out there, was called out to a peeping tom report and we were a 2 man unit. We arrive about 2:30:am blacked out. We started walking the area when we hear what might be someone possibly walking along a fence line, we split up and head towards the sound. As we are getting closer to the end of the high wooden fence it doesn't really sound like a person and it really slow so we get to the end of the fence line and no moon to help and we don't want to use our 5 cell flashlight yet. We wait and sound getting louder but can't see anything yet then it appears. It's a sprinkler that follows the hose and then shuts off. This sprinkler has one spray arm missing and makes the sound we are hearing. My partner and I go back to patrol car and quietly leave area blacked out. Report read nothing suspicious in area and closed report.

Yep. We’ve got problems with the schools in Central Texas. Particularly the ones in Killeen Texas. It’s right outside Fort Cavazos and it’s your typical Military city. It seems during the school year a week doesn’t go by without something happening on the Middle or High School campuses.

Belton? We lived in Cove. I think it was somewhat better than Killeen, but this was eons ago.
