They're dropping off a big pile of HST and shotgun shells to me this afternoon. And 1500 rds. ( I think) of .22. From Topgun Ammo.Fed Ex just dropped off 6 50 rd boxes of Fed 9mm 147gr fmj-fp from ammunitionstore.com $13.75 each $16.00 shipping. Five days isn't bad.
This my second shot using the Trijicon screws have a feeling they may be a tad too long. They bottom out before reaching 15 inch pounds. If they get loose again I'll take a few thousands off of the last set I have. I recall you told me 6-32 X 3/8 was the correct size.Just got this issue today, thought about @rcurtner as soon as I saw the cover. Will give it a read this evening.

Well, I would say something about you having some screws loose, but I’ll behave myself…….Just received screws from Trijicon to mount SRO onto AOS plate for SA 1911 AOS Operator. Last range trip these screws came loose.
Thanks OldGrunt, gonna order several right now.

I am following yor experience with your 1911 45acp AOS closely. I want to take the plunge with an AOS Operator 45acp but my experience with the Prodigy has me waiting and watching. My problem was plate to slide, which led to the buying new screws for SRO to A14B AOS plate because I had to remove optic after every range trip to R and R the dang plate to slide. It sounds as if SA got plate to slide corrected by your reports. Please post if taking a thou or two off the optic screws gets it right. I will say again, I love that setup you got Goin on.! Yeah it's a pain dealing with the plate & optic mounting screws. Trijicon assured me their screws were the correct length for mounting their SRO onto the AOS plate. Already in my mind think they're wrong, will find out soon. OldGrunt suggested I check out TACTICAL CUSTOMS LLC for their 6-32 X 3/8 screws, just ordered 6. This outfit offers a lot of options for dot mounting as well as many other interesting items. Local weather reports show rain off & on for the upcoming week. Will get to the range ASAP.
