Went back to Atwoods where they had some big sales, mainly to look for a 308. only had a SFAR. i got that so nope. looked at an echelon and this Mod 3. held both. Mod 3 felt better in the hand was 300 bucks cheaper. laid em side by side and thought. i don't see the extra 300. so took this one home for 300 out the door.

Local gun shop had a nice little flat latch Smith and Wesson 34 snubby, also known as the 22/32 Kit gun. I have a four inch, but this is a two inch. Problem is I am going to hit some gun shops in St. Louis this weekend with a friend, and didn't want to get a delay this weekend for buying two handguns so close together. So I left it there...at lunch with a buddy at G&D Steakhouse and he said "Just put it on layaway". Brilliant. So we went back after lunch, it was still there so I put it on lay away until next week. That way if I buy something this weekend it should sail thru, then I can pick up my new/old .22 LR next week. Life is good!!!!

Which gun stores in STL ?

I'm going on a trip so I have decided to upgrade my AR pistol. I taking off the A-frame front sight post and Magpul grips. I purchased an Armalite 10" free float hand guard, plus the appropriate gas block and tube. Since I cannot find my AR vice block tools(🤬) I have purchased a new set along with a new tube of Loctite anti-seize grease. Now shopping for a front sight.

I completely understand enjoying switching things around on them, even if it might have been cheaper to just buy another upper.
