What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

Well, I tried to buy something.
Last Thursday the 19th, I called Vortex Optics to purchase some extra mounting screws for the Defender XL red dot I recently purchased. Ron in customer service said screws are free and that he would get a few in the mail right away. When he asked if he could do anything else for me I said no thank you. We had a short conversation about the various Vortex optics that I own and love. I wished him a Merry Christmas and we ended the call. The attached pic is the screws and other goodies that arrived ten minutes ago.

5 stars to Vortex customer service!

Typical of them. Years ago I bought a Venom and it came with the wrong screws. I called them and literally the next day I had 3 sets of screws and a cap.

Normally I would have gotten something for Christmas but since LGS closed down and I couldn't put my hands on something I purchased nothing this year. Looking for guns on or at a computer screen is not the same. Still wanting a CC9 and when someone tells me they have one in stock I might just pick one up. Can't believe not having LGS anymore. Boy, the world is changing.

My mom sent me some $$ for Christmas, so I decided to invest in a pair of these. Tired of banging earmuffs on the stocks of my rifles, and those foam ear plugs just don't cut it..

I have the earlier version of these connected with a wire and I use them with my earmuffs. I could never get a good fit that lasted while shooting at an indoor range. They may be better when outdoors due to the sound not being so contained in the room. I find wearing both protects my old guy ears that listened to many jet engines in the 60's. Heavy duty hearing protection and SKETCHERS----- (Joke for anyone that read " Avoid being a target-Is your pistol truly concealed")
