Went to Atwoods for some translucent mags, they be kinda see through ya know. but smokey colored. bought them and they had the Ruger American gen rifles for 50% off. woulda been about 400 out the door, nah, dern slow bolt action stuff.

So then i stopped by the gun shop to take the Gunsmith his Mac 10 mag i cleaned up. he gave it to me a while back and he showed me one he was working on i said i'll bring yours back. he said no i gave you that. i said welp you need a mag so i'm bringin it. i been lookin at this shotgun for a while. he said i'll make you a great deal on it. it's the last one and been out here on the floor for a while. There was a nother reason that i better not get into but made me a heckuva an offer. i took it home. another @Bassbob favorite. lol Charles Daly. made in Turkey. It gots ghost ring sights with a fiber optic front.

You're clearly not poor, since you and @BET7 are the two here most often asked to be people's adoptive daddies. So I know you can afford PMags and Italian or Israeli shotguns and yet here you are buying the kinda crap poor people buy. :unsure:
 
Just ordered a "Cam Lock" bullet puller w/appropriate collet, a new powder scale, and a 2-set of "Lee" breech lock bushings. Expect them here Tuesday pm. First gun related stuff I've bought since I funded the little lady's new S&W Equalizer some few months ago. Damn, it felt really good spending money on something really worthwhile instead of groceries for the kids, power and water bills, and other assorted crap like that.

Yesterday I put down a cool $260 on Alpine Multicam tactical gear to go with my winter loadout - the foundation of it being a Raptor Tactical Ghost Mk2 plate carrier. I found another outlet, Beez Combat Systems, has far superior customer service and pattern choices than Optics Planet. The stuff on the left is what I ordered, it will be alpine like my plate carrier (right).

Update: I didn't get the gear I ordered till yesterday but hot dam if it didn't look awesome! Here's everything, but I haven't put the cummerbund on yet. The 3 pouches can hold either 3 AR15 mags or two AR10 mags, each. They're universal so even the LR/SR mags that hold 25 rds will still fit with the flap closed.

That's not the only thing that came in yesterday... My XDM Elite 10MM also arrived! So I grabbed the last box of 10MM from the shelf.
