Going to shoot around 500 rounds before mounting a dot. Sig's Romeo X enclosed compact looks good but pricey, $479.00 at Amazon. The rear of the optic is very thin and flat and doesn't have a built in rear sight. Installed suppressor height irons so should have a very good co-witness. Second choice is Holosun's EPS carry w/6 moa green dot, $349.00 at Amazon.
I kinda mislead folks, looked at the Sig Romeo X Enclosed Compact optic on Amazon. Stated I would shoot hundreds of rounds prior to purchasing an RDS. Amazon only had 3 of these in stock so I ordered one a few days after the above post. Have a Pro model on my P-226 really like it assume the Compact model on my P-365 Fuse will perform as well.

What I purchased today was an UpLula magazine loader for Glock 21 magazines. My plan today was to go to the range and try out my new .45 Ruger Carbine and try out the different magazines I ordered a few days back (The Carbine only came with one 13 round Glock 21 magazine.). I went to go preload these before leaving for the range. That turned into a no go, as I couldn't even top off the 13 rounders, let alone the 30 rounders. My range day turned into a trip to Academy for the mag loader. So, my next range opportunity will be on Tuesday, as I don't go to the range over weekends due to crowding, and the range is closed on Mondays. I'll see what magazines work the best before I order more. I have to use Glock magazines with this Carbine, and I'm glad the ones I did order came in a plain brown cardboard box. I sure don't want people thinking I own a Glock! lol I see that they also make a 22-round magazine, and I might order a few of them to give a try. I'm one of those people that like to have a lot of magazines for their firearms.

Ruger RXM.
I had no plans of even stopping in the gun shop when I left the house, and sure wasn’t looking for anything. But a “Glock” that fits my hand and at $399 new costs less than a Glock did 30 years ago… What the hell, give me one.

I had surrendered to the fact my iron sight days are gone and have been changing over to RDS. While this RXM is optics ready, I think I might be able to use these sights. Nice wide notch in the rear; big bold front sight with only a tritium insert for distraction.

Good luck with it. Please let us know how shoots. Wish I had a LGS close by but would have to drive 75 miles. I guess if I really wanted one i could just purchase it online.

Good Buddy of mine bought one about two weeks ago...

If his reaction to it is the seemingly norm, you won't be sorry.
