What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

Today was the last straw with Prodigy. Not only did the optics plate come loose again, but it has developed a hammer follow problem. Actually had two double shots in first magazine. Nothing against automatic weapons, but was quite disturbing. Gave me an excuse to jump in with both feet. Picked up this Brand spanking new Staccato XL, came with nice range bag, optics plate and an extra (20 rnd) magazine. Prodigy will go back to SA again and once I get it back it is on the market.
Wow, no doubt the problems you're having are a real pain in the a**. Hope I don't have similar problems with my 1911 AOS Operator. Any chance you getting a new Prodigy from SA?

Sounds like you got the lemon of the bunch. I hope SA makes it right for you. Congratulations on the Staccato! Looks like a mighty fine piece.

Just curious. Are you using blue loctite and a torque wrench to secure screws? I ask because I have an Emissary AOS supposed to arrive at LGS Monday and am crossing fingers all will be well!

Yes, as instructed by Tech at SA , I cleaned plate, slide, screws and screw holes with acetone. Applied loctite primer he said to use ($30.00 bottle, need two drops). Loctite 243 blue ( chemical resistant). Manual says torque to 25 in-lb. I went 20 in-lb due to screws being lubricated by loctite. Used wheeler FAT Wrench torque driver. Not trying to be a killjoy, just my experience so far. I hope yours is good to go.

Wow, 25 in-lb a lot. Glock MOS’ were 13 with SCS MOS. Same wrench I use. No killjoy suspected. I know there can be issues with any manufactured product.

Got my LGS on the lookout for a Beretta Tomcat -- no purchase yet. Have a box of .32ACP and nothing to shoot it with so . . .
My gun shop I use has them if you want to do an internet purchase and have it shipped to your shop……

Specifically, 082442982359 -- I'll let you know if my LGS doesn't come through. Really silly to buy a firearm just to shoot a 50 rd box, but I'll blame it on old age (got nothin else).
