Still hem hawing about a pair of rimfire scopes. I've been dropping hints all over this place figuring one of you guys has a .22 with a low end scope on it you would recommend, but....

I guess I'll just have to pick one.

I could spend more money on scopes than the rifles are worth, sure. But I ain't in love with these things. They're .22s for F's sakes. The rest of their lives will be spent on ranges and in backyards, likely never venturing past 50-100 yards. I could put Romeo 5s on them and be done with it really.

I'll just pick a crappy Chinese scope off Amazon and buy a pair of them.

I bought a $50 Barska 30-30. If I like it I'll buy another one. It will be here Wednesday and I'll be testing it out this weekend.

I know that feeling all to well, try paying on 3 hospital bills…..well since my birthday is in a week, I’m letting the bills go for the month and going to gun shop tomorrow, treating myself for once……

Well, I had to dig it out. Turns out it's a 3x9x44, but you inspired me. I bought a set of high profile 30mm dovetail rings and I'll slap it on one of them. We'll see if I like either of them. I really liked the little Glenfield scope that's on the Marlin. It's small, non adjustable, light. I guess I'll go the other way though.
