No, the barrel is inside the sleeve you see. that is not the barrel. it's like the colt m4 22. they use the same mags too. i forget the adapter thread size. but it's small.

was going to check out several cases from fastammo - then - boom - the shipping charge they added was 40% of the total! wow - forget it I will buy local then.

You might check out ammunitionstore.com. The last case I got shipping was 20 bucks.

All mine are threaded for 1/2x28 other than the H&K and Colt. they truly do have a pencil barrel.
